A Gathering of Jaguar and Daimler cars in the magnificent setting of Drum Castle in Aberdeenshire, where the castle itself is the backdrop to a wonderful day with the cars arrayed on the castle lawn. As well as the Jaguars on display, the Drums and Pipes of the Gordon Highlanders Association will be playing four sets during the afternoon. There will be raffles, bottle stall, cake and candy and our famous strawberries and cream to enjoy. The primary purpose of the Gathering is to raise funds for local charities.
There will be an informal concours judging of the cars, with a trophy awarded at the end of the day for the best presented car from each decade, from the 1940’s all the way through to the 2010’s. In addition, there are multiple other trophies for highest mileage, furthest travelled to the event, ladies’ choice and guest car.
Come along and enjoy the spectacle on the castle lawn that is the Grampian Region JEC Annual Gathering and support a good cause in the process.
