“Cromford Mills has been described as the most important preserved textile heritage site in the world. Discover how Sir Richard Arkwright and his contemporaries changed the world on one of our fascinating tours and find out why the Derwent Valley Mills is now a World Heritage Site”.
The reservation is held until the end of February which is when we have to finally commit to numbers and pay the tour fee. The cost will be £27.40 per person and will include:
Refreshments upon arrival
Film Show entitled “The Arkwright Experience”
The Mill Tour
Sandwich buffet lunch.
The approximate timings are as follows:
10:50 - Arrival and park in pay and display car park.
11:00 – Refreshments
11:30 – Start of tour including film
12:45 - Lunch
