Derbyshire Region - Spring Trip Away 2025

We are planning a 2 night trip to North Yorkshire in April 2025. The dates are Tuesday 8th to Thursday 10th April 2025 (Tuesday to Thursday) - 2 nights

This is a lovely part of the world, graced with stunning scenery and fabulous roads, which are (relatively) traffic free.

Our hotel base will be The Aldwark Manor Hotel and Golf Resort. The hotel is approximately 13 miles north west of York and approximately 9 miles from the A1M. The Hotel began in 1978 when it was converted from a manor house with 37 acres of grounds, and a golf course was created. In 2019 the hotel changed hands, being purchased by a local family, and a programme of improvements commenced.

The proposal is based on a ‘Classic Double’ room on a Dinner Bed & Breakfast basis. Other room types are available at additional cost. Please discuss with the hotel when booking. All the rooms that we were shown when we visited were of a very good standard, it just depends how much space you want/need!

We will have a dedicated parking area by the main entrance to the hotel for some of the cars.

Further details of the trip will follow, and will include convening at a well known motoring venue on the Tuesday before driving up to the hotel, and there will be a run out on local roads on the Wednesday 9th April.

** STOP PRESS ** We reserved 12 rooms at the hotel and all 12 have now been taken. This is an excellent response and we are very pleased that the trip has gone down so well with members of the region. We will keep a 'reserve list' in case anyone has to pull out.
