JEC Racing visits Zandvoort

The Toyo Tires/Watchdogapp.com Jaguar Saloon & GT Championship visits the famous Dutch circuit.

On 8-9th July, JEC Racing contenders are once again making the trip across the Channel to Holland. The reason? - To race in the 17th  British Car Festival at Zandvoort, the ex F1 circuit made famous by James Hunt’s maiden Grand Prix victory in 1975.

Rounds 5 & 6 of our Toyo Tires/Watchdogapp.com Jaguar Saloon & GT Championship will be run over the weekend. The series is for all qualifying Jaguars, build between 1948-2017 plus a special non-points scoring invitation class for those that don’t quite comply, but look interesting!

Since 2001, the JEC have raced a number of times at this popular seaside circuit, most recently in October 2016, where the Jaguars did battle in extremely challenging conditions, their drivers demonstrating great skill to tame the ‘Big Cats’. This year, the earlier date should ensure more favourable conditions.

Why not come to watch a spectacular weekends activities? Similar in concept to the Silverstone Classic meeting, merging track action with a huge turnout of infield classic car stands, paddock displays and concours events. Clubs and cars drawn from across the continent to experience all things British, providing a great opportunity for our European members to see Jaguars in action.

Bring the family and enjoy Zandvoort’s adjacent golden beaches and myriad attractions – Amsterdam is but a short drive or train ride away.
