Regions attend first Bicester Heritage Scramble of 2019

Led by JEC Oxfordshire, our members attended one the first big meets of the year. As a great start to the year as over 40 members staged a significant presence at Bicester Heritage's Winter 2019 Scramble on Sunday January 6th .

Bicester Heritage's Scrambles continue to grow with this first event of the year attracting more than 7,000 people to view over 1,500 vehicles from 22 different car clubs.

Members cars on display represented a splendid 'time-line' of Jaguar cars being made up of; a SS100, a D-Type, 4 E-types, a 1963 S-Type, numerous MK IIs, a V8 250, an XJS, an XJR, an XJ 350 & 358, 3 XKs, 3 XKRs, an XK RS and lastly an XF.

At least 100 other Jaguars are known to have attended the event including a fearsome Project 7.

Members were also able to catch up with club Partners Bremont at their unique display, whilst also enjoying a host of additional exhibitors and organisations who are based on site. For those who were not driving they could also take in an taster from the Wriggly Monkey Brewery.

This is an event which the club will certainly be making a return to over the next year, so grab you diary and put the following dates in ready for the next three events which are being held on the 28th April, 23rd June & 6th October.
