Speed and Power by the Bucket Load
Ice driving is like nothing else you’ve ever experienced and will have your adrenaline pumping and your face smiling as you get to enjoy the exhilarating sensations of speed and power by the bucket load.
Perfect for anyone passionate about driving, it’s also one of those great experiences that will teach you how to drive intuitively and how to control your car in challenging terrain.
Where can I do ice driving?
The ice driving event takes place on a frozen lake in the middle of a forest in the beautiful Norway, so you’ll also have some great scenery to take in (that is if you’re still for long enough).
During winter the lake freezes over and is transformed into a race track, designed to challenge and develop you as an ice driver while you practise the new skills you’ve learned.
We want our Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club (JEC) members to be able to get involved with lots of different fun events and ice driving is just one event we offer.
It’s a great opportunity to learn new skills, to do something completely different and also to talk to other car and Jaguar enthusiasts. What are you waiting for?
Scenic & Continental Car Tours work in partnership with JEC to operate this event and if you’re interested in ice driving then please call: 01732879153 and quote ‘JEC’.
You’ll be in Expert Hands:
As part of the ice driving experience, a qualified team of ARDS registered instructors and technicians will be with you to share their expert knowledge to help you become a safe and confident driver on the ice.
The lake has a Motorsport licence and is drill tested twice a day to ensure the safety of all concerned.
For a glimpse at what the day will involve then take a look at: Ice Driving in Norway video.
