We have some fine examples of the XJS promised for the Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club Timeline on 27th September, which include Jonathan Browne's XJ-S GT, Michael Driver's Celebration Coupe, Howard Harper's 3.6 Cabriolet, Jean Facon's Lynx Eventer and Rob Jenner's JaguarSport XJR-S.
We need more cars like this, to complete our Timeline, in particular we need 3.6 Coupes, 5.3 Cabriolets, and Insignia's. We still seek more examples of all other XJS models, so please contact me (Letitia Mace) at [email protected] no matter what XJS you own, if you would like YOUR car to be part of this historic occasion!
We are looking for unmodified cars, restored or unrestored, but as they left the factory - embellishments like leapers and non-standard wheels are confusing to non-XJS owners who do not know the specifications of the differing varieties of XJS.
Exceptions to this would be cars that are clearly modified, such as the Lynx Spyder, Paul Bailey Monaco, Lister Le Mans or TWR variants.
Please do not be put off if your XJS is not a Concours D'elegance winner, although we would prefer your XJS to be in nicely presentable condition
