JEC return to Brooklands

JEC BROOKLANDS Sunday 23rd August 2015

Organised by our Surrey/Hants Borders Region with assistance from our Surrey Region we are delighted to return to this historic venue.

Home of the Worlds first purpose built motor racing circuit it still retains some of its amazing banking and the famous Test Hill, opened in 1909!

The old sheds have been turned into museums covering cars bikes and bicycles and the incredible 24 litre Napier Railton. (Which you can experience in the new 4D theatre)
It was also an airfield and the history of flight is illustrated through the many planes on display from a Sopwith Camel to Concorde.  The site even houses the London Bus Museum.
For all the activities see www.brooklandsmuseum.com

On top of all there is a full Jaguar Day, over 500 cars expected, Region and forum displays, Pride & Joy competition, Music, JEC Git Shop and the 2015 Raffle Car. Ispy for the kids and your chance to drive Test Hill!  Yes its open especially for us.

The event is also the culmination of the European Mark Vll to Mark lX Saloon tour, a rare site.

A very full day out whatever the weather as the site is mostly hard standing.

Please Note:  That entry into the site can only be guaranteed to pre-booked cars. So don’t just turn up  book in advance to ensure your spot.

Pre-booking forms will be with the June and July magazines and available here shortly.
