Jaguar Super Cars
To help celebrate the 25th anniversary of the XJ220 we will be looking back at some of the marques Supercars and what embodies that for Jaguar. Well, we have come up trumps this year and have a stand that will stun all visitors of the show. In our new style stand offering all the best bits of hospitality and friendly welcome we will be presenting the following Jaguar Super cars.
- XJR-12 Bud Light
- Lindner-Nocker Low drag lightweight E-Type
We are very fortunate to have Jaguar friends who are letting us display some of the most sought after Jaguars. CMC Restorations are very kindly supplying the Lindner-Nocker E-Type, just as famous for the restoration effort as the car itself. You can read all about the restoration itself by visiting their website here.
Jaguar Classic are supplying the modern unicorn, CX-75. Jaguar wowed the world when they unveiled this stunning concept, a mix of gas turbine and electric power, coupled with the beauty that we have come to know as Jaguar.
XJR-12 is being supplied courtesy of Don Law racing. This is the car that won Le-Mans in 1990 with an average speed of 126 mph and a top speed of 204 mph recorded. This is Jaguar Super Car legend. It also won the Hill Climb Challenge at this years Goodwood Festival of Speed at the hands of Justin Law.
XJ220, well it is its 25th birthday after all. What more can you say about this car that has not been said. When launched it was the fastest road going production car in the world. It took Ferrari and Porsche to produce something quite spectacular to knock it off its perch.
C-Type, the original Jaguar super car. Based around the successful XK's this was the car that was developed to win at Le Mans and did so, twice! It then evolved into the dramatic and even more dominant D-Type. The C-Type on the stand is an accurate recreation of the C-Type supplied by Twyford Moors Classic Cars.
2010 XK 5.0 ltr. Not quite a super car, but who would say no at supporting this years charity and be in with a chance of winning this car 5.0 ltr NA V8 convertible? We think that makes this a super car!
