What is the Big Forum Weekend?

We have the whole hotel to ourselves over the course of the weekend and we are planning to do something a little different to our usual format events. Starting with music and entertainment on the Friday evening to welcome you all, followed by a day of entertainment, quick fire seminars, an auto jumble bring and buy, a show and shine competition as well as trade stands. We then have a day of drives planned for the Sunday before you make your way back home.

Not only that, but we will have Antique and Collectables expert from BBC's Bargain Hunt, Caroline Hawley, on site!  So dust off that old antique in the loft and bring it along.  You never know, it could be the next big find.

What's Going On?

On Saturday 16th September we will be hosting a number of technical seminars including a demonstration from Miller's Oils, advice from parts experts, SNG Barratt and model forum discussions. If that doesn't float your boat, then don't forget to bring along your collectables for BBC's Caroline Hawley to tell you all its secrets.  You may be sitting on a fortune!  You can read about Caroline's work on the Bargain Hunt website.

There will be a buffet lunch for all attendees on the Saturday and judging throughout the day for a number of trophies and prizes, sponsored by Millers Oils, including People's Choice, Furthest Travelled and even a Best Dressed Owner who closely matches their car's era!  In the evening the Club will be hosting a Gala Dinner at the Mercure Grange, when the prize winners will be announced and you can enjoy a brilliant social evening.

On Sunday 17th September there is an opportunity to take part in the Sunday run taking place through the lovely Yorkshire countryside.  There will also be a show and shine competition - so polish up that Jaguar!

All bookings are being made through Scenic Car Tours so take a look at their website to book or call 01732 879153.
