Jaguar’s iconic vehicles, such as the XK120, E-type, MkII and, more recently, the Project 7, have enthralled and amazed enthusiasts across the globe for decades. Now is your opportunity to get behind the wheel of some these legendary vehicles with the Jaguar Classic Driving Experience, at JLR’s very own testing and development track.
The experience offers drivers an exclusive opportunity to explore the tarmac on which Jaguar vehicles have been developed, honed, and refined to the pinnacle of performance. Joining the Jaguar Classic team for a half-day session in the morning or afternoon, you’ll have the opportunity to drive some of the most famous vehicles in the world, plus enjoy a hot-lap with one of Jaguar’s own highly experienced test drivers in vehicles like the C-type or D-type Continuation, F-Type GT4 or XJ220.
Fen End was once known as RAF Honiley, home to squadrons of Hawker Hurricanes, Supermarine Spitfires, de Havilland Vampires and more during and after the Second World War. Closing its gates as an airfield in 1958, it was then owned and operated by several automotive businesses for vehicle testing until JLR took over the site in 2014. Since then, test drivers and engineers have used the facility to develop the latest JLR models, and for your drive day you’ll be behind the scenes at a circuit that is usually off limits to members of the public.
Having been welcomed to the circuit, you’ll be treated to either breakfast or lunch before meeting your instructor, learning more about the facility’s history, receiving a safety briefing and then heading out on track.
