New livery for new leadership at Jaguar TCS Racing

Jaguar TCS Racing has revealed its new Jaguar I‑TYPE 7 in a fresh and striking livery for the 2025/26 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the team.

With new leadership and a refreshed driver line‑up, the unveiling marks a bold statement of intent for the season ahead, as Jaguar TCS Racing prepares to take to the track for official pre‑season testing in Valencia (27‑31 October).

The latest livery is an evolution of the team’s signature look – sleek and unmistakably modern. The updated design retains the iconic black, white and gold palette, as well as the sharp contrasts and dynamic geometric elements that reflect Jaguar TCS Racing’s forward‑thinking ethos.

The official pre‑season test in Valencia marks the first public outing for Jaguar TCS Racing’s refreshed leadership and driver line‑up, as newly appointed Team Principal Ian James joins forces with 2019/2020 World Champion António Félix da Costa and long‑standing Jaguar driver Mitch Evans – who together boast the most Formula E race wins of any previous Formula E pairing. The trio’s first official outing in Valencia signals the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the team ahead of Season 12.

Entering its milestone tenth year with a record to date of 22 wins, a further 31 podiums and 1,638 points from 127 race starts, Jaguar TCS Racing heads into the new season looking to build on the momentum of an incredible 2024/25 campaign, finishing runners‑up in both the FIA Teams’ and Manufacturers’ World Championships. With six wins – five of them in the final six races – the team delivered more race victories than any other season to date, showcasing its championship‑calibre potential. The I‑TYPE 7, now entering its second year in the GEN3 Evo homologation era, remains unchanged for the upcoming campaign.

As the team enters its tenth season, Jaguar TCS Racing’s strong network of trusted partners continue to play a vital role in the team’s success both on and off the track. Title and Official Technology Partner, Tata Consultancy Services remains central to driving innovation and adaptability for the team, while long‑standing collaborations with Dow, Castrol, Reflo and Alpinestars continue to deliver technical excellence and opportunities that offer more sustainable solutions across operations.

Jaguar TCS Racing is also delighted to welcome Chase to its partnership roster as its Official Financial Services Partner – another exciting collaboration that further strengthens its commercial and competitive edge ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

GEN3 EVO and the Jaguar I‑TYPE 7

The GEN3 Evo era introduced new regulations for the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, spanning Seasons 11 and 12.

New bodywork, all‑wheel‑drive capability for Qualifying Duels, the launch and ATTACK MODE phases of races, plus new Hankook iON tyres were changes for all teams.

As a manufacturer, Jaguar TCS Racing’s GEN3 Evo machine, the Jaguar I‑TYPE 7 – introduced many new Jaguar‑manufacturer perimeter parts when it made its debut at the beginning of Season 11. It showcased cutting‑edge engineering with an all‑new rear powertrain featuring a redesigned inverter, Motor Generator Unit (MGU), and transmission, homologated for the 2025/26 season, with the ambition of pushing performance to the next level.

Its reconfigured package has improved handling balance, aided by a lighter electrical ancillary system. Enhanced thermal management makes the MGU more efficient, while a newly developed rear suspension offered greater adaptability across diverse circuit conditions – providing precision, performance, and versatility.

We have a number of highly-qualified experts who can inspect your vehicle prior to purchase and provide you with a full written report. In addition to their complete understanding of the mechanical and aesthetic aspects of vehicle inspection, they have extensive experience with the Jaguar marque which perfectly equips them to identify the unique requirements of specific models and years, something that is particularly important for older cars.

The cost of an inspection begins at £100, with the final figure determined by the time needed and the distance the inspector is required to travel. We can guarantee that your inspection will be cheaper than an equivalent AA or RAC inspection.

This small upfront outlay could save you thousands in the long term.

To arrange an inspection simply call JEC Head Office on 0117 969 8186 and they will provide you with details of your nearest inspector.

Also from our club HQ in Bristol we can give you an official valuation for insurance purposes. Our valuations are accepted by all leading insurance brokers and Companies.

GETTING STARTED

Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club Insurance is designed specifically for members of the JEC. That’s why it covers JEC TrackSport events and offers cover for JEC Young Enthusiasts. Furthermore, the scheme recognises that members may have a combination of newer and more historic Jaguars and so the scheme caters for all, other individually or part of a multi-vehicle offering.

Club insurance doesn’t operate the way standard insurance does. While it does still take a vehicle’s mechanical characteristics into account, it also places a lot of emphasis on how the vehicle is used, cared for and maintained.

Club insurance also offers a host of benefits and products that you simply cannot get outside of membership of the JEC, such as member to member cover for example. This enables you to drive your friends Jaguars at regional meets, events and on tours with fully comprehensive cover and without the need to complete more paperwork or ring up and incur costs for adding named drivers.

This way, you’ll be comfortable knowing that you have a policy that fits your vehicle and your usage needs perfectly.
