Production years: 1959 - 1961

The last development of this model range came in 1959 with the introduction of the Mark IX. Looking exactly the same as the Mark VIII, there were major enhancements to performance and safety. Fitted with a larger 3.8 litre XK engine and with all round disc brakes and power assisted steering, the model stayed in production until 1961.
