Oxfordshire

The JEC's Oxfordshire Region was officially launched In June 2018, after a ceremonial cake cutting celebration at Bicester Heritage's Flywheel Festival. We are an extremely active and ambitious region, and were the 'Host Region' of both the JEC 2019 and 2021 Jaguar Summer Festivals. By our March 2025 AGM we've already had 200 meetings with more than 20 Members, Family & Friends at each and every one & 4,270 'Person attendances' overall. Many of our events attract JEC Members from many other Regions, far and wide.

Membership continues to be growing fast, with more than 80 subscribers and personal contact with, and engagement by, significantly more than half of the JEC members across Oxfordshire, Eastern Gloucestershire & the fringes of Swindon & Aylesbury. You will always be made most welcome. New Member 'George' recently said: ""Oxfordshire JEC Region is really good and very active with great events. I was made very welcome and, as a result, resolved to both join the JEC and Subscribe to the Region".

We typically hold at least 2 meetings a month, very often 3, a few times 5 and even 6 once ! These take place right around the shire and elsewhere, being made up of drive-outs, talks, visits, 'open nights', experience days, gentle competitions and more. Why not make contact to receive our 2025 programme ?

2024 saw us enjoy some top flight speakers, trips away, providing significant & vital support to Club events including at Bicester Heritage, as our 'spiritual home', and the British Motor Museum / Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust at Gaydon.

In July 2021, the Region was honoured to play 'host' to the, biggest and still best to date, JEC Summer Jaguar Festival, held at Bicester Heritage, with some 35 of us playing our full part in the operation of the event (including the parking of more than 1,500 cars !), providing or supporting major components of it (the Driving Experiences around the Test Circuit, entering the Pride and Joy competition, entering the Concours (and winning it) and providing a drive route to the event from Heythrop Park Hotel). If that was not enough, we also set up a lot of it on the Friday and took a lot of it down again on the Monday. It was a VERY full-on, but hugely enjoyable, weekend !

We have regularly hosted other JEC events at Bicester Heritage, such as the Young Jaguar Enthusiasts' Driving Experiences in 2022 and 2023, when our Members cars' were a major part of the experiences fleet. This event was triggered by our Region. Annually, we've partnered, some 7 times now, with Mission Motorsport to deliver 'Veterans@Heritage'. Our Members and their Jaguars take Veterans, Dependants and serving military personnel about to, or recently, resettle into civilian life, for passenger experiences. Our partners, the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust always help out, as do Bicester Heritage tenants, with some real Jaguar 'exotica'.

If you would like to know more about the region or want to attend one of our meetings then please have no hesitation in contacting us, using the Region Enquiry function on this site, for more information.

Agreed values

We have a number of highly-qualified experts who can inspect your vehicle prior to purchase and provide you with a full written report. In addition to their complete understanding of the mechanical and aesthetic aspects of vehicle inspection, they have extensive experience with the Jaguar marque which perfectly equips them to identify the unique requirements of specific models and years, something that is particularly important for older cars.

The cost of an inspection begins at £100, with the final figure determined by the time needed and the distance the inspector is required to travel. We can guarantee that your inspection will be cheaper than an equivalent AA or RAC inspection.

This small upfront outlay could save you thousands in the long term.

To arrange an inspection simply call JEC Head Office on 0117 969 8186 and they will provide you with details of your nearest inspector.

Also from our club HQ in Bristol we can give you an official valuation for insurance purposes. Our valuations are accepted by all leading insurance brokers and Companies.

GETTING STARTED

Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club Insurance is designed specifically for members of the JEC. That’s why it covers JEC TrackSport events and offers cover for JEC Young Enthusiasts. Furthermore, the scheme recognises that members may have a combination of newer and more historic Jaguars and so the scheme caters for all, other individually or part of a multi-vehicle offering.

Club insurance doesn’t operate the way standard insurance does. While it does still take a vehicle’s mechanical characteristics into account, it also places a lot of emphasis on how the vehicle is used, cared for and maintained.

Club insurance also offers a host of benefits and products that you simply cannot get outside of membership of the JEC, such as member to member cover for example. This enables you to drive your friends Jaguars at regional meets, events and on tours with fully comprehensive cover and without the need to complete more paperwork or ring up and incur costs for adding named drivers.

This way, you’ll be comfortable knowing that you have a policy that fits your vehicle and your usage needs perfectly.
