Sunday 21st June 2026 – Father’s Day
Chiltern Open Air Museum, Gorelands Lane, Chalfont St Peter, HP8 4AB
We are very gratified that we already have bookings for more than 200 people and more than 100 Jaguars & Daimlers coming from more than 15 JEC Regions and some Members that have not previously engaged with their local Region.
Thank you for all your support for this new event. There are very few of you who have not yet confirmed your interest with bookings!
The seven core Regions continue to progress our agreed plans for this event, with many confirmations of active support by exhibitors now received.
We look forward to seeing – or for the first time – meeting you!

Event pricing, bookings and payments
The Chiltern Open Air Museum continue to show real support for this event.
As well as providing the booking and payment portal, they have agreed a VERY attractive price of just £7 per person. £1 of this is going to the JDHT to thank them for all their support of the JEC. There aren’t many places these days that a family of 4 can get into a wonderful attraction for less than £30!
To book for your party, all you need to do is go to:
https://coam.digitickets.co.uk/category/50032
You will find that the only date you can select is, naturally, 21st June. When in the ‘check out’ area, do ensure you select your Region from the alphabetic list or the option of ‘No Region’ as may be appropriate.

Exhibitors and displays
Alongside the 15 Region displays, there will be displays of the anniversary models (XJ40, XK and X-Type) and there will be the significant contributions of the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust. Naturally, we hope Members’ own vehicles will include many rare and special examples of Jaguars and Daimlers.
We are very grateful for confirmed displays by StarterMotor, U17 Car Club, Mission Motorsport, Electrogenic, Pendine Cars, a private individual’s very rare Austin Swallow and by E&E Services. We are also midst arranging the presences of JLR Classic, SNG Barratt and Lookers – the Aylesbury Jaguar Dealer.
Automotive artist Katherine Rogers will also be in attendance ready for commissions or to sell others of her work. Part of any fees will also be donated to the JDHT.
He’s neither an Exhibit or an Exhibitor of course, but we are grateful too that our Club Chairman, Peter Leake, will also be joining us.
Other displays that are well advanced in planning are the ‘Jaguar I’d most like to take home’ Competition and a Jaguar Timeline – to be made up from members’ own cars.

It’s Father’s Day Indeed, But What About the Family??
We fully appreciate that not all of your entourages are going to be obsessives or petrol-heads. So what is there for them ?
Over and above the food & drink (your own picnics or purchased on site), the museum buildings and the music, the answer is lots ! There’s:
- An Adventure playground.
- Dressing up kits in many of the 40 heritage buildings.
- A Kids’ Brass Rubbing Trail.
- A Sculpture Trail
- A Woodland Walk
- An Orienteering Course
- Gardens & Orchards
- Play with historic toys
- A Victorian School House experience
- A Family room with colouring
- Baby changing & breast feeding facilities
- Farm animals & wildlife to see / spot
Remember too that your younger teenager may well be agog to join in with the U17 Car Club. Slightly older teemagers may well be interested in an automotive career. StarterMotor can help them with that !!
Also, dogs on short leads are welcome, but not in the houses, please.
