The Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club's North Yorks & Pennines Trip, organised by Scencic Car Tours, took place this week. More than 50 JEC Members, Family and Friends, in their more than 30 Jaguars, stayed at the excellent Headlam Hall Hotel, near Darlington. A full 50% of the cars and people were from the Club's Oxfordshire Region.
Oxfordshire Region's Alan & Andrea Richell and Region Chair Steve Daniels undertook the role of 'hosts' and kept everyone mingling (as well as on their toes) !
On the way up to Yorkshire some Region Members called in at the Donnington Circuit and others called in at the Great British Car Journey on the way back down.
Attendees (from more than a dozen JEC Regions in total) enjoyed 3 curated drives West (Aysgarth), North (Hexham) and East (Stokesley, Helmsley, Thornton-Le-DEvery evening there was lots of chatting, debating, putting the world to rights and discussing Jaguars (inevitably).
What's more, many attendees celebrated the FBHVC's 'Drive It Day' (in aid of the NSPCC's Childline) with plates attached to their Jags and alongside the Tour plate.
Not done with that, those on the Whitby drive meet up with a good contingent of local York & District Region Members under Alan Marsden their Region Chair and Paul Dodds, the Region's Events Lead. The 'Tour-ists' were made very welcome indeed.
So we were all blessed with good times, good drives and good weather.

Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club Insurance is designed specifically for members of the JEC. That’s why it covers JEC TrackSport events and offers cover for JEC Young Enthusiasts.
