Below is Roger's Monthly Report for March which will be published in the May edition of the JEC Magazine
Not a lot to report at the moment as we are still in “winter mode” here in Derbyshire but are looking forward to the better weather and getting out in our cars as the nights get lighter and warmer (we hope).
As I write this report, we have strong winds and cold temperatures here, but only a week ago we had 15 degrees and “shirt sleeve weather” but I remember my parents saying, “never cast a clout until May is out”, and I think they could be right.
We had 25 at our March meeting with quite a few “apologies” for being away on holiday, and who can blame them? I had a very nice call from a lady at Bluebell Children’s Hospice a few days before our meeting and she asked me to pass on their sincere thanks to all our member for the donation we made in memory of Bernard Hand who passed away in January. I also received a message in early March to say Bernards wife, Christine, had also died a few weeks earlier. She had been in a home for some time and in many respects, it was a blessing and we send our condolences to Gary and the family.
By the time you read this report we will have had our April Meeting and AGM and details of this will be in the next magazine. Our programme for 2026 is finalised and copies have been circulated to all members with hard copies available at out next meeting.

Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club Insurance is designed specifically for members of the JEC. That’s why it covers JEC TrackSport events and offers cover for JEC Young Enthusiasts.
