The Staffordshire North region July meeting “Car of the month” competition winner was a stunning MK2 belonging to Jeremy Hilliard, at the meeting Stan Crutchley was presented with his award for winning the competition in June. Dave Page gave us a resumé of the North Yorkshire Moors 4-day trip which several members took part in and by all accounts thoroughly enjoyed it. Many thanks go to Dave and Sue Page for all the effort they put into the trip. Next year’s trip is in the planning stage. Our monthly raffle raised £59 towards region funds and the “Booby Prize” was won by Janet Taylor, thanks to all members who donated prizes. The show season is a way off finishing yet; On 14th September the region will be at Trentham Gardens where we will have our own show with prizes for first, second and third plus a “Best car” award. A report will follow next month. Other events we will attend are Thoresby Park, Sunday 29th September and in October Foxfield Railway and Heaton House Farm. I will need any photos (Maximum of two) for the 2026 calendar by the end of October please, these need to be Landscape format (or square) with some border around the car/scene and of good resolution. Send them anyway and I will let you know if they are not suitable.

Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club Insurance is designed specifically for members of the JEC. That’s why it covers JEC TrackSport events and offers cover for JEC Young Enthusiasts.
