To mark the joint anniversary of two very special generations of Jaguar XK – the XK8 (X100) and XK (X150) – we are holding a special gathering and drive through the glorious Cotswolds, starting at The Classic Motor Hub near Cirencester and finishing at the British Motor Museum at Gaydon.

The Classic Motor Hub, Bibury

Our day begins at 9.30am on Saturday 17th October 2026 at:

The Classic Motor Hub

Old Walls, Ablington

Bibury

GL7 5FF

The Classic Motor Hub is home to a wonderful selection of exceptional classic and performance cars from across the eras, together with an excellent café, shop and showrooms.

The café, shop and showrooms will be open from 9.30am, giving everyone plenty of time to meet fellow XK owners, browse the cars and enjoy breakfast before setting off.

There is no need to pre-book or purchase admission to The Classic Motor Hub.

The Cotswolds Drive

After our gathering at Bibury, entrants can choose from three suggested routes to Gaydon.

These will range from a fairly direct drive of around an hour to more leisurely routes through the Cotswolds, allowing you to stop and explore some of the area's beautiful villages along the way.

There is no fixed departure time, so once you've enjoyed the morning at Bibury, you are free to set off for Gaydon at a time that suits you.

British Motor Museum, Gaydon

On arrival at the British Motor Museum, we will have a dedicated parking area for the XK cars, bringing the X100 and X150 generations together for what should be a fantastic anniversary display.

We also hope to be able to offer guided tours of the Jaguar collection, with a particular focus on the XKs held within the collection.

The Museum Café is open throughout the day for lunch and afternoon tea.

We have arranged a reduced museum admission price of £14 per person, unless you already hold a valid annual pass.

PLEASE NOTE: Museum admission is not included in the £6 Run Ticket. You will need a museum entrance ticket (or valid annual pass) to access the museum, café and Jaguar collection. Museum admission is charged per person.

Special Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Cars

We are delighted that the event is being supported by the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust (JDHT), who will be bringing two very special XKs from the Heritage Collection to display at Bibury before joining us on the run to Gaydon.

We have requested two cars representing the very beginning and end of this remarkable XK story:

The very first production XK8 – the Geneva Show Car
The very last XK produced – an XKR Signature Coupé

Having these two significant cars joining us should make this joint anniversary gathering particularly special.

Run Tickets

Run Ticket: £6 per Car

Please select a Run Ticket from the ticket section when booking.

IMPORTANT: Run Tickets are PER CAR .

The £6 Run Ticket is a nominal charge to help cover the costs of putting on the event, including the additional staffing required at The Classic Motor Hub.

Included with your Run Ticket is a special anniversary windscreen sticker, produced by the club to commemorate the joint anniversary of the XK8 (X100) and XK (X150) and your participation in the event. Your sticker will be available to collect on the day.

All entrants will also be entered into a raffle for the chance to “Adopt a Car” at the Heritage Collection.

Please remember that admission to the British Motor Museum is separate and is not included in the £6 Run Ticket. Reduced museum admission is available at £14 per person, unless you hold a valid annual pass.

We hope you can join us for what promises to be a memorable celebration of two generations of the Jaguar XK – bringing together the XK8 (X100) and XK (X150) for a great day of cars, Cotswold roads and Jaguar heritage.

We have a number of highly-qualified experts who can inspect your vehicle prior to purchase and provide you with a full written report. In addition to their complete understanding of the mechanical and aesthetic aspects of vehicle inspection, they have extensive experience with the Jaguar marque which perfectly equips them to identify the unique requirements of specific models and years, something that is particularly important for older cars.

The cost of an inspection begins at £100, with the final figure determined by the time needed and the distance the inspector is required to travel. We can guarantee that your inspection will be cheaper than an equivalent AA or RAC inspection.

This small upfront outlay could save you thousands in the long term.

To arrange an inspection simply call JEC Head Office on 0117 969 8186 and they will provide you with details of your nearest inspector.

Also from our club HQ in Bristol we can give you an official valuation for insurance purposes. Our valuations are accepted by all leading insurance brokers and Companies.

GETTING STARTED

Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club Insurance is designed specifically for members of the JEC. That’s why it covers JEC TrackSport events and offers cover for JEC Young Enthusiasts. Furthermore, the scheme recognises that members may have a combination of newer and more historic Jaguars and so the scheme caters for all, other individually or part of a multi-vehicle offering.

Club insurance doesn’t operate the way standard insurance does. While it does still take a vehicle’s mechanical characteristics into account, it also places a lot of emphasis on how the vehicle is used, cared for and maintained.

Club insurance also offers a host of benefits and products that you simply cannot get outside of membership of the JEC, such as member to member cover for example. This enables you to drive your friends Jaguars at regional meets, events and on tours with fully comprehensive cover and without the need to complete more paperwork or ring up and incur costs for adding named drivers.

This way, you’ll be comfortable knowing that you have a policy that fits your vehicle and your usage needs perfectly.
