JEC Surrey Regional Event - Drive It Day 2026 in aid of Childline
National Drive It Day was created by the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs in 2005. It is the occasion when historic vehicle enthusiasts and the public at large have the opportunity to celebrate the One Thousand Mile Trial organised in 1900 to prove the viability of the new invention, the motor vehicle. It’s also a chance to raise awareness and support amongst the public for the historic vehicle movement and keeping transport heritage on UK roads.
This year JEC Surrey's event will start at Denbies Vineyard at 09:30 with a leaving time of 10;00 hrs and the destination is approximately 54 miles away at Beechey Head public house with amazing views and where you will be able to refresh.
Please email Dave if you'd like to take part by clicking here and please buy your fundraising plate by clicking here to the following the Drive It Day web site.
If you wish to join the group who will be eating at the pub, you must advise David Stimpson BEFORE 29 MARCH 2026 so that he can advise the pub landlord who will allocate sufficient seating for those on the list.Ideally: Look at the menu by clicking here and let David know your selections so that the pub Landlord can ensure supplies. If this is not possible or actioned for some reason, the pub will still serve but you will NOT be with the booked group! The Pub stipulates this as it is a busy day for them.
We look forward to clement weather and a pleasant day out.
