JEC Tracksport @ Le Mans 88 ‘Inside Out’ - Jaguar Classic

In partnership with the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust and Jaguar Classic, we’re launching a new kind of JEC TrackSport event.

Le Mans ’88: Inside Out — live at Jaguar Classic on 7 February 2026, over lunchtime.

This is the 1988 Le Mans story told by the men who lived it.

Andy Wallace was on the inside, racing the Silk Cut Jaguar XJR-9 to victory with Jan Lammers and Johnny Dumfries.

Mike Wilds was on the outside, fighting in the Nissan R88C alongside ex-Jaguar driver Win Percy and Allan Grice. Mike will explain exactly what it felt like to go up against Jaguar and Porsche at full force.

Both Andy and Mike have huge careers behind them. Hearing them talk through ’88 — how they raced, what they saw, what really happened — is a rare chance to get the story straight from the cockpit.

They’ll be joined by Eddie Hinckley, race engineer for the winning car, and Rod Benoist, TWR’s number-one mechanic in 1988. The session will be hosted by Jaguar Enthusiast editor Wayne Scott, with added insight from former TWR director Richard West.

You’ll see original race footage. You’ll see the winning Silk Cut Jaguar XJR-9 up close. And you’ll hear the people who built it, raced it and beat the odds.

This is a one-off event. If you love Jaguar, Le Mans or motorsport history, you don’t want to miss it.

Track Day & Event Cancellation: We accept that sometimes, unexpected things happen, to reflect this our cancellation terms are:

1. Up to 60 days prior to the start of the day - You may cancel without penalty.
2. Between 60 and 30 days prior to the event - A credit or refund of 50% of the booking fee will be issued for
3. Less than 30 days prior to the event - No refunds or credits will be issued, unless there is waiting list for the event and your place can be re-sold. The Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club will make every attempt to resell the place; however, this cannot be guaranteed.

In exceptional circumstances the Jaguar Enthusiasts’ Club at its discretion will consider late applications to cancel; eg; serious illness and bereavement. In such circumstances we reserve the right to offer a credit towards a future event as an alternative to a full or partial refund.
