Drive It Day at Haynes Motor Museum – Sunday 26th April
Join us for a fantastic day of motoring heritage and club camaraderie as we head to the Haynes Motor Museum on Sunday 26th April in celebration of Drive It Day.
Conveniently located just off the A303, the museum offers an ideal setting for a relaxed and engaging club meet, with the venue opening from 10:00am and last entry at 4:30pm. With plenty of parking available—including a dedicated area for our members—it’s the perfect opportunity to showcase your Jaguar alongside fellow enthusiasts.
Originally initiated by the XJS Section, this event warmly welcomes all Jaguar models, making it a brilliant chance to connect with members across the club and appreciate the diversity of the marque.
The Haynes Motor Museum itself is home to an impressive collection of over 300 vehicles, charting the evolution of the motor car from its earliest days to modern classics. Find out more about there story here; %%SHEEP_PLACEHOLDER_0%%

Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy:
Free guided tours (lasting 60–90 minutes), offering deeper insight into the collection
The excellent on-site Café 750, perfect for a relaxed lunch or coffee break
A well-stocked gift shop, featuring Haynes manuals, automobilia, and an extensive range of model cars
As part of Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs’ Drive It Day initiative, the event also supports the NSPCC, the UK’s leading charity working to prevent child abuse and neglect. Members are encouraged to purchase their official rally plates directly via the Drive It Day website, priced at £12.50 for a standard plate or £30 for platinum. Please note that rally plates are not included in the museum entry fee.
For those looking to make a full day or weekend of it, the surrounding area offers a number of fantastic attractions, including the iconic Stonehenge and the fascinating Fleet Air Arm Museum.
Whether you’re there for the cars, the history, or simply the drive, this promises to be a memorable and worthwhile event for all involved.
