JEC @ Jaguars at Oulton – Cheshire Cats
Join the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club at Oulton Park on Saturday 8 August for Jaguars at Oulton – Cheshire Cats, the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust’s dedicated national day celebrating one of Britain’s most iconic automotive marques.
This all-new fixture will blend thrilling on-track action with demonstrations, displays and anniversary celebrations, set against the stunning Cheshire parkland circuit.
On-track entertainment will be curated by the Classic Sports Car Club (CSCC), with a race programme featuring the CSCC Jaguar Championship, the return of the ‘Powered by Jaguar’ race, and the Mike Hawthorn Jaguar Challenge. The latter will see pre-1961 Jaguar classics battling for the prestigious Norman Dewis Trophy.
A highlight of the day will be a spectacular ‘Big Cats’ on-track demonstration, led by the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust. This special showcase will include legendary machinery such as the unique Jaguar XJ13, the Silk Cut Jaguar XJR-9 (Le Mans winner in 1988), Group C cars and XJ220s.
Away from the circuit, visitors can enjoy an extensive display of Jaguars from all eras, featuring club stands and individual cars, helping to mark several major anniversaries. These include 25 years of the X-Type, 30 years of the XK8/XKR, 40 years of the XJ40, 65 years of the E-Type, 130 years of Daimler, and the launch of the highly anticipated new Jaguar.
The day will also feature Q&A sessions with special guests and Jaguar specialists, plus a track parade lap for all Jaguars on display to round off the celebrations.
