The third Northern Jaguar Show will take place on the 23rd August 2026 at the Avro Heritage Centre, Woodford, Near Pointon, Stockport, Cheshire. Following on from the success of last year’s show, the Greater Manchester Region will once again be hosting the Northern Jaguar Show, and we are aiming to have over 200 Jaguars from across the eras once more. In addition, we will also feature no less than 4 anniversaries this time, celebrating the XK8, X Type, XJ40 and X150. If you have one of these models and would like to bring it along, we will display these models separately so they can all be together for great pictures and lots of camaraderie.
We will also be featuring some regular features again, such as the Vulcan engine simulated start-up, David Marks from David Markes Garages presenting a talk on a car, hopefully from the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust, and the best in show. This year we will also be having a live band and hopefully ( weather dependent) the Avro Triplane with engine start up. In addition, there will be a chance to see the Avro Shackleton in storage – once described as the world’s largest Airfix kit!! We are also hoping to get a couple of surprises for everyone to see, but until we have confirmation, we’ll keep that to ourselves.
Arrival for the show will be from 9.00 am, and the show will open at 11.00 am. The display fee this year will be £9.00 per car, payable by card or in cash on arrival. However, if you are a member of one of the North West regions, there will be a separate arrangement for payment of the display fee.
There will be the fantastic Avro Heritage Museum to visit and also enjoy an informative cockpit tour presented by many of the people who actually flew the aircraft. Entrance to the museum is £9.00 per person or £7.00 per person concessionary, and the cockpit tours are extra, ranging from £2.00 to £3.00 per person. Please can we stress the importance of paying the entrance fee to view the museum, as Avro Heritage are a charitable trust.
Getting to the Avro Heritage site is usually via the M60 and A34 for Cheadle. Exiting the A34 onto the A555 for Pointon, Bramhall, and Buxton. Once on the A555, exit at the junction for the A5102 Bramhall / Woodford and follow the sign for Woodford. Following the sign for Jaguar show, turning right at the roundabout and keeping Knotcutts garden centre on the right, turning left into the new housing estate at the next roundabout. Marshalls will be available to guide you into the Avro Heritage site, but please remember there is a 20 MPH speed limit through the Estate.
We will look forward to seeing you on the day – please can you let Pete Smith ( Chair Greater Manchester Region ) know if you intend to attend the show so we can book your place, and also if you would like to display your car in one of the special features sections.
