News from Staffordshire North Region

September was too dark for the “Car of the month” competition, so it didn’t happen. Our region attended various events including a large party of members travelling to the Isle of Man Festival of motoring for their show, we had club stands at Eccleshall, Apedale and others, plus our final visit in October to the Foxfield railway, thanks to Carol Ingram and Dave Page for making the arrangements for all our shows again this year. The Christmas Dinner/Dance this year is still under discussion at committee level as I write this in October, please join us at the November club night (third Wednesday at Moorville Hall hotel from 8:00pm) for details of what the plan is. There will be a region calendar for 2025, although the cost of this is not yet available I expect them to be in the region of £12 each, there is still time to submit a good quality picture (at least 1Mb) for selection before the November club night, if you would like a calendar please drop me a line, email, phone call or come to the November club night meeting as I only order the quantity of calendars required, they are available as wall or desktop style.
