News from North Staffordshire Region
In September we held our final (for this year) “Car of the month” competition which was won by a beautiful E Type belonging to Ed Walker. Pictured is Dave Rockey with his award for winning in August with his XK8. The region has attended several events since restrictions were lifted, thanks to Carol Ingram and Dave Page for organising the tickets. Our annual Christmas Dinner/Dance this year is at our new meeting venue (provided there are no further restrictions on the Covid front) – Moorville Hall hotel in Cellarhead on Saturday 8th January 2022, time is short now as there has not been much availability to organize it. The evening will follow our normal format of 7:30pm start, meal (which you must pre-book), raffle, followed by dancing (for the energetic!). Rooms are available, if required, but we need to know who wants one. Come to our next meeting on 17th November at 8.00pm, email me or contact Brian Pye to book your places and reserve a room, application forms should appear on our web pages soon. We will have a region calendar for 2022 costing around £12 this year, there is still time to submit a good quality picture (at least 1Mb) for selection, if you would like a calendar please drop me a line, email or phone call as I only order the quantity required.
