In 1958 the Mark VIII was introduced as an interim model, initially listed alongside the Mark VIIM. With a revised interior, more prominent radiator grille and chrome trim and the option of two-tone exterior paintwork, the car also stayed in production alongside its replacement, the Mark IX, until 1959.
