The Jaguar F-TYPE is the first two-seater sports car produced by the company since the E-type, and it replaced the grand touring New XK and XKR models.
The F-TYPE was introduced in 2014 as an entirely new car using an aluminium structure with stylish two-seater convertible or coupe bodywork, with wide rectangular grille and vertical bi-xenon headlight treatment.
Mechanically the car is powered by a new 3.0 litre V6 supercharged petrol engine of 340 or 380bhp or a 5.0 litre V8 supercharged engine of 488, 550 or 575bhp, with an 8-speed transmission with paddle shift controls or the option of a 6-speed manual gearbox for the V6 models. The suspension is also new with adaptive damping and up to 25 different settings to adjust the ride and handling characteristics. Some models are equipped with an active differential, and all wheel drive.
All interiors have the latest infotainment system and driver aids to maximum performance and take advantage of the latest technological advancements.
