Berkshire - Thames Valley
Welcome to the Berkshire - Thames Valley Region of the Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club
It does not matter what model of Jaguar you have, you are very welcome to join in the Regions club nights and events. Club nights are held on the third Monday of each month and other than November, we do not have Speakers. It is just an opportunity to meet up and socialise with other members, hence we welcome wives/partners of whom we have about ten or more attending regularly and many more at our various events throughout the year. The venues for our club nights vary so that all members home locations are within easy reach and you can find out from the Regions website (jag.org.uk) and the Club Event list where we are holding them. Our events during the year range from visiting places of interest, such as National Trust Houses and Gardens, we have our own Sports Car Day in May at Hambleden, near Henley-on-Thames, behind the Stag & Huntsman pub, RG9 6RP, when all makes of cars are invited to attend. Visits to other car related places are also made. At the July club night we hold a BBQ at Badgemore Park Golf Club as we have so many members attending and need a large car park to cater for displaying/parking our Jaguars. A Christmas Dinner is held early in December at Badgemore Park when again many members attend.
We have our own Regional monthly magazine, "Mascot", which is available in either printed format or electronically. A annual Regional subscription covers the cost of printing/postage and provides funds which cover expenses and subsidies given on some events during the year.
We are growing in numbers every year and encourage everyone to visit us and take part in our social events. So come along, we encompass a wide area from Windsor to Hungerford, north to Abingdon and south to Basingstoke; you will be made very welcome.
