Virtual Car Show

The JEC Cheshire Virtual Car Show & Lockdown photo competition was suggested because we can't hold normal car shows at the moment.

We have had a great response to our Virtual Car Show & Lockdown photo competition. The number of entrants and quality of photos entered was excellent.

Judging was decided by the 5 committee members with Chris Antell as head judge. We had 3 categories:-

Sports car, Saloon & Lockdown photo.

With a prize for the winner of each category and the JEC Cheshire Members' Cup presented to the winner with the best overall photo.

A cross-section of the photos were shown on our July JEC Zoom meeting, where the results were also announced. This also made good use of the Zoom technology. The results are given below.

The judging was made more difficult in this category as there were a number of strong entries that were close contenders.

Lockdown Photos

In this category we wanted interesting, funny or appropriate photos that depicted lockdown for them.

Lots of varied entries included a yacht restoration project, garden/DIY projects as well as the usual car related projects.
