JEC South Lincs - 2021 Visit to Sywell "Pistons & Props"

The South Lincs Region of the JEC arrived early Saturday morning on a still but cloudy day, anticipating a fun packed weekend amongst friends. We left Sunday afternoon with beautiful blue skies providing the backdrop for some great air displays. The following photos don't really do the weekend justice, but hopefully gives you an idea of just what a fantastic event this is.

Setting up our pitch.

We arrived early Saturday morning to beat the queues and get our cars lined up before the public were let loose.

The Blades aerobatic team put on a phenomenal display on both days.

The Blades were at their best, impressing the crowds with their tight precision formations.

All vehicle marques and types were on display

The good, the bad, the rare, the unusual and some others that we suspect were probably not sponsored by Autoglym.

Some chose to camp in style too......

1934 Citroen Traction Avant was "unusually" front wheel drive, but well suited to touring with a classic caravan.
