JEC South Lincs. - Regional Day and Car Show.

We returned to Woodland Waters for our annual regional day and car show. Again we were blessed with fine weather, and that helped to bring out the cars, even more than ever ......

Throughout the day more than 200 cars joined us providing a stunning display of vehicles old and new for all to enjoy and admire. The added challenge was to somehow vote for the "best in show".

When all votes were in, and counted, the best Jaguar in the show was Stuart Jackson's beautiful grey Mk2. The overall "best car in show" went to Stewart Mckay's stunning electric blue Ford Fairline, whose white interior was equally evocative of the era. Congratulations to both winners.

At the end of the day when Woodland Waters began to empty and the club volunteers found a few minutes to sit down and reflect on the success of the day we were pleased to find out that we had made over £1000 for our local charity which this year was Parkinson's UK, Grantham Branch.

A big thank you also to all the traders ( and model boat club ) who helped to make the day memorable.
