JEC South Lincs - A week away in Norfolk. May 2022.

Dunston Hall provided the base from which we explored the east coast.

A detailed tulip map provided by Neil helped us navigate the "Broads", whilst on the following day, a drive out to Caister Castle and Car Museum preceded a guided tour of Caister Volunteer Lifeboat Service.

It staggered us to learn that this life saving service is fully independent of the RNLI, and operated solely on donations from the public. The club therefore presented them with a donation of £50 to show our gratitude.

Surprisingly four club members all had birthdays during our stay, so we were all able to celebrate with Kim, Wendy, David and Russ on our last evening together. Happy Birthday to all.
