JEC Oxfordshire Supports the Mission Motorsport / Royal British Legion's 'Veterans @ Heritage' Days

Mission Motorsport's focus is on supporting service personnel to maximise their potentials on 'civvy street' - whether they are ex-services themselves, whether or not injured in service or a relative of a service person. The Royal British Legion is of course well-known. The two collaborate to provide really memorable experiences with a motoring theme. The JEC Oxfordshire Region is more than happy to get involved.

Mission Motorsport's focus is on supporting service personnel to maximise their potentials on 'civvy street' - whether they are ex-services themselves, whether injured in service or a relative. The Royal British Legion is of course well-known. The two collaborate to provide really memorable experiences, and skills, all with a Motoring theme.

Each month. on the third Wednesday, Mission Motorsport holds a ' Veterans @ Heritage' event. Most often, this is a social event held in the historic and iconic (and no doubt rather familiar to some) ex-RAF Bomber station that is Bicester Heritage. But once a quarter, Bicester Heritage makes its Test Track available to Mission Motorsport.

They then arrange for owners of interesting cars, both classic and modern, to attend (by appointment only) to use their cars to provide thrilling rides to veterans and other beneficiaries of the Royal British Legion's services and grants.

The JEC Oxfordshire Region is more than happy, indeed honoured, to have been invited to get involved. This month, so far, we will be attending with an F-Type, an XJS and an XF.

Let's just hope that all three stay below the site's 90db noise limit !
