Peter Leake – From Swallow to Jaguar - The First 100 Years.

From 1922 when William Lyons and William Walmsley started designing and building motorcycle sidecars, through to successes at Le Mans in the 1950s to building the iconic E Type and ground-breaking XJ6. The British Leyland years followed by the Egan era before the company being bought by Ford and then Tata. This talk will cherry-pick some highlights from the first 100 years with an opportunity to ask questions to further fill-in this extraordinary story-so-far of the iconic car brand that is Jaguar.

Peter is a JEC Director, responsible for liaising with JLR. He has had an incredible career with Jaguar and was the Dealer Training Manager during the launch of many cars including the XK8.

Tottington Manor will be making food available at the meeting from 6:45pm. It will be Beef Stroganoff with Mash & Seasonal Vegetables for £14 per person.
