York and District JEC Region's Chair, Alan Marsden, is a volunteer Water Safety Adviser for the RNLI based in York. He has arranged for us to park next to the Bridlington Lifeboat Station to help with RNLI fund raising. The charity is a donation run organisation without government support.

There is a 30 car limit so please contact Tim a.s.a.p. Even if you can't park on the front you could still have a day out and could join us.

There is a great viewing gallery of the Shannon All Weather Lifeboat and Alan will liaise with the Bridlington staff to make sure the day is memorable. Last year was great and we hope to repeat both an interesting trip AND help raise funds for this great charity.

There will be plenty for you to do as Sewerby Hall is a short land train trip or walk away and many other interesting sites in the area. Plenty of ice cream and fish & chip as well!

RNLI Water Safety Advisers provides information to schools, colleges, clubs and groups. There is a wealth of information of the RNLI web site or please contact Alan [email protected] to know more.
