Hi did I once read on here that you could buy a set of fixings for the undertray ones that don’t rust or are a lot easier to get out. My car is a 2007 XOR.

I don't recall that particular posting but it would be good if improved alternatives were readily available. Mike.

I don't know how the X150 undertrays are attached, but if it's like the earlier X100, then a new set of chimney/spire nuts and new stainless steel M6 screws and washers are easily obtained from ebay. The wide spire nuts used by Jaguar take a bit of hunting down (narrow ones are common), but are available here;

Note these are not stainless, but I haven't been able to find any that are! Their galvanising seems a good quality the ebay photo is less than complimentary!) and if they're generously coated in Waxoyl or similar they should be OK. I also put copper grease on the stainless screws' threads. This sort, but check the length required;

And washers;

Having written all that, I found some 'kits' on ebay for various Jaguar models, but I noted they all seemed to use narrow spire nuts, not the wide ones that the undertray is moulded to accept.
