Engine Oil

So much for Castrol being the recommended oil. Just out of interest I punched the details into the Castrol website only to be told no product suitable refer to the dealer!

Understear is when you hit the wall with the front of the car, and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Mmm. The Castrol site worked for me and also spat out offers for every year/model of XK8/R as far as I could see.

Preference was given to Castrol Edge 0W - 30, then Edge 0W - 40 and finally Magnatec 5W - 30. I've always stayed with Magnatec if anyone cares!!
