REAR QUARTER WINDOW

Postby lovejags » Sun Sep 02, 2018 7:55 pm

The n/s rear quarter window on my 2007 xkr has stuck in the down position when I raise and lower the roof you can hear the motor running so guess it's the regulator or something loose. Have taken seats out and the seat belt anchorage point but am struggling with the rest of the trim, any pointers. Thanks.

Take out the door scuff plate trim. Open the hood only as far as to get the tonneau cover open. Support the lid in the open position with a piece or wood or similar. Release the convertible top hinge cover tension strap. Take out the outer waist seal. Separate the top lid seal (2 clips). Undo the lower seat belt anchor. Then, you can remove the 4 bolts and release the 4 clips holding the trim panel in position. Mike.

Mike and I would seem to have access to the same set of instructions for this procedure!

Access to the full illustrated manual covering this job and removal of the window regulator can be downloaded from here
