Removal of front seats

Postby sportbrake » Fri Jan 05, 2018 9:06 pm

Has anybody any tips about removing the front seats of X150 convertible? I am planning to renew the leather.

There is probably a youtube video somewhere of someone doing it and taking you through the steps, I have used the one for the X100. Disconnecting the electrics is the tricky bit as you won't want to set off the Airbags....

Just 4 torx bolts then tilt back to be able to disconnect the plugs underneath the seat. It is prudent to disconnect the battery also to avoid accidental firing of the air bag circuits.
