Has anyone ever found out why the filler cap has a left-handed thread :?:

It's to stop idiots putting Brake Fluid, Engine oil etc in by mistake.

Is the cap left-handed on the V12 as well :?:

The power steering pump on the 5.3 V12 is different it is a belt driven pump with an integral reservoir (same as was used on the v12 E type) the cap is a quartrer turn anticlockwise and lift off type cap similar to a radiator cap but smaller
