vague steering

Postby dolphinfreindly » Wed Oct 02, 2019 8:45 pm

When driving the steering in my XES feels vague when driving in a straight line. I seem to be constantly adding small adjustments to maintain direction. Has anyone else had this feeling?

From experience, I can vouch that the XE S is very sensitive to wheel alignment, especially at the rear. There's an unusually narrow rear wheel tolerance. At one extent, the car feels totally alive but at the cost of accelerated tyre wear. Adjusted to or beyond the opposite limit, the car loses some of its original nimbleness but has reduced tyre wear. You pay your money... Mike.

Personally I would favour the nimbleness and increased wear over the other.
Need to find a great alignment specialist around Aberdeen, thanks
