Don't be put off by the deoderant headline, continue reading, there is some interesting information about air conditioning refrigerants, old, present and future and their effects on the environment especially CFC-12, the original gas in XJSs and HFC-134a as currently used.

Crikey! Did not realise that there was a replacement for 134a. My air-con remains a muesum piece even after converting to 134a.
