Facelift noisy blower

Postby CliveRothwell » Mon Dec 17, 2012 11:54 pm

Left hand blower gets very noisy (clicking) when put onto the third and fourth speed yet return to normal quiet running when turned to the slower two speeds.

Any thoughts please?

Cheers

It might be something as simple as a leaf or similar stuck down near the fan inlet. A pain to get to from inside, although you may be able to see it if you can remove the plenum grill (four small torx bolts plus the wiper arms.)

Thanks Al. I thought it might be that too until I remembered that it has been under cover for the past month and was run up OK last weekend. Still, it's worth a try...............
