Hi
A friend of mine is looking to buy a Proetus C Type.
Has anyone had any experience of their cars?

Take a look at the JDC Replica and specials Facebook Group. There is a lot of replica experience in the group

Bruce, Obviously it depends on how much your friend has to spend but do tell him to look at the Suffolk Sports Cars site, IMHO they build the most authentic "C" types and I think my Aluminium car is still there. You would be hard pushed to find a better one.

Hi Lowebird
My friend had the opportunity to drive one and has now decided against buying one. I think he thought it would drive like a modern sports car!

Oh dear, what a shame, it is probably the best example of a '50's sports /race car that money can buy. Perhaps he should try an X150 XK8 which are wonderful cars and one hell of a lot of car for the money.
