Introduction

Postby Mike3342 » Mon Jun 10, 2019 7:09 pm

Good evening to all,

Have always loved anything Jaguar since being young and back in 2005 I talked the other half into having a new X Type sport premium as her company car. This was my way of getting her interested in the brand.

Having now reached a certain age where neither of us have to race around i took her to see an X350 V6 SE at a local dealer. One test drive later and the car was hers (Ours!). We used it for a few months through winter and then due to other circumstances it was stored for the last 18 months. Now back on road after going through MOT with two advisories, Front tyre near legal limit and front pads low, already in the plan to change discs and pads having done rear discs and pads before test. it isnt in absolutely pristine condition but we are now working on this. Apart from Discs and pads I will be having gearbox flush completed in coming weeks, £550 quoted locally at a transmission specialist, fit the air compressor kit and hopefully be able to remove the CD changer that is jammed.

Struggling to attach pictures as file too large but will try to update going forward.
Based in North West so hopefully get to some of the local meets if I can ever get the keys back from the better half.

Welcome, Mike.

Loads on this X350 section of the site to peruse. We have compiled threads on most common issues found on these cars. If you have an engine problem, then go to that section and look for the issue you might be having. The chances are we have it covered. If not, then let us know and we will do what we can to advise.
