Hi, I am in search of a reputable classic Jaguar specialist based in Yorkshire, preferably near Leeds/Harrogate/York, to fully service my late father's 1963 Jaguar MkX in advance of the Blenheim Palace event in May. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Adrian

Recommendations for good local garages are always difficult due to the risks of litigation these days. It's better to attend a JEC regional meeting where members are often more willing to discuss their experiences (good and bad) face to face. You also get the chance to probe answers more deeply. If you are willing to travel, Ken Jenkins near Worksop or David Marks at Nottingham are trusted garages well versed in Jaguars of the sixties. Mike.

Hi Mike, thanks very much for your reply. I noted my father had used Mike Waud in Wakefield in the past who comes highly recommended but is now focusing on building E-types. He recommended Trevor Hill in Stanningley, Leeds who I felt very comfortable with. He has fully serviced the car and delivered it this afternoon. A test drive felt great. Cross fingers I make it to Blenheim on Saturday! Regards, Adrian
