Re: Fuel leak

When you say it runs up the passenger side do you mean under the car or in the engine compartment. If I'm not mistaken there is two pipes one being the return to the tank. I wouldn't have thought it would be a hard job to repair it.

Rear Wheel Bearings

Hi Does anyone know what the torque setting is for the rear hub bearings on a 2004 2.7 Diesel. It could be 330 Nm but I'm not sure. Also it would be handy to know what it is in ft lbs.
Thanks in advance .

Hi Doug When you say wheel sensors I take it you mean ABS sensors. I know if you get a fault on these it can put the engine into limp mode but I've not heard of a fault on the gearbox. But it's always handy to know for future reference :D

I think the previous post is your best bet. You would need different hubs etc which I don't think you could get from anywhere.

There was an article in one of the magazines on this subject some time ago, unfortunately I can't remember which one.

Re: Correct Wiper blades for 2006 S Type?

I get mine off ebay There's always a list to see if the product you choose is compatible for your model / year ect. Measure your blades first because as Mike says different years of model have different length of blades. Also check with your Vin No in case someone has fitted the wrong size before yo...

Re: Connectors on Rear Electronic Module

Hi Clive Try Eurojag give them the details of your old unit serial numbers etc and your cars vin number. I got a rear parking sensor module from them some time ago and its still going strong. There details are in the magazine.

Hi Neil and welcome, you've certainly got your work cut out having two to do. I,ve fancied an XK8 myself but they do suffer from the dredded tin worm.

Re: 2007 S-Type diesel prop shaft and differential

Hi Has anyone changed the center bearing on one of these prop shafts, if so what kind of a job is it to do. I've had a look under on my back and it looks like the exhaust will have to come off and it looks like there is a heat shield that has to come off as well.

Re: Binding NSR Parking Brake

Do this procedure one side at a time. Make sure that the sliders on the calliper are free. Remove the pads and get someone to press the brake pedal up and down till the piston is a good way out more then it would have been with the pads in. Then wind the piston back in. Do this two or three times th...

Re: Windscreen wipers

First of all make sure that you have got the right blades fitted ie not to long. If they are the correct length then you could try releasing the arm from the spigot and moving it down a couple of splines and see if that cures the problem. If it doesn't there may be excessive play in the mechanism. J...

Hi Graham If the rolling radius is different it will alter your speedo.
