99.7 RON! 4 STAR WITH 5 STAR EQUIVALENT PERFORMANCE!
Bayford Thrust, the nation's leaded petrol distributor, announced recently that the current 4 star product, being manufactured by Futura Petroleum, has a 99.7 RON rating. This means that the quality of fuel being produced is almost a throwback to the heady old days of 5 star.

It is no wonder that classic car performance is being enhanced all the time. In a further declaration, James Milne of Futura declared "We can confirm that the 4 star rating for the rest of the year will be 99 plus offering the classic car user enhanced performance."

The increase in the petrol's lead content means a higher-octane level. With such a high level, the good news is two fold in that octane boosters are no longer required as well as providing increased miles per gallon due to the engine's improved efficiency. Engine Performance, tuning specialists and the Vintage racing circuits are particularly excited about the RON rating now that the need for boosters has been removed.

4 STAR SUPPLY TO CONTINUE INDEFINITELY
In addition Bayford Thrust have just received confirmation from the DETR that leaded petrol supplies will continue for as long as there is demand. Thrust and BWOC are currently adding sites at the rate of 1 a day and expect an upsurge in the next few weeks now the uncertainty regarding 4 star's future has been removed.
